WALTHAM, Mass., June 13, 2018—Cadmus, a leading consultancy in areas from energy, water, and transportation to safety, security, and resilience, announced today that it has hired Dennis Lauer as the firm’s new chief information officer (CIO).
Lauer has a wide range of experience with public and private sector organizations of all sizes. Before joining Cadmus, he was CIO for DC-based IT consulting firm Pragmatics, where he led internal IT modernization efforts and oversaw a federal civilian portfolio of IT programs that served numerous governmental and quasi-governmental agencies. His earlier experience includes serving as the CIO and vice president of management and administration for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, as CIO for the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and as deputy CIO for the U.S. Agency for International Development. Lauer has extensive international experience, ranging from performing management and IT assessments to installation of Satcom servers and wireless metropolitan area networks.
“Dennis is an exciting addition to our executive leadership team,” said Cadmus president and CEO Ian Kline. “His leadership, experience, and exceptional technical ability will allow Cadmus to better meet the needs of our employees and our clients in the ever-expanding technology environment of business today.”
Previous CIO Matt Pierce will be staying on with Cadmus in the newly developed role of vice president of information security and facilities, in which he will oversee Cadmus compliance with federal, commercial, and international privacy and security standards.
