With the growing level of global cyberthreats and the need for action plans and preparedness measures, Cadmus supported the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) and the U.S. Department of Energy on a cybersecurity resource for utilities.
The Cybersecurity Preparedness Evaluation Tool
This tool serves as a resource for public utility commissions (PUCs) to assess and evaluate cybersecurity risk management practices. The tool is a structured approach for identifying the maturity of cybersecurity gaps, engaging utilities to adopt mitigation strategies, and to inform investment decision. This tool is part of a larger Cybersecurity Manual comprised of five resources.
