
Amy Marasco currently serves as Chair of the Cadmus Board. A leader in environmental policy and management for over thirty years, Amy is a senior executive consultant and nationally recognized facilitator known for guiding clients on effective strategic planning, marketing, communications and organizational re-designs. She coaches public, private and nonprofit sector executives in developing business strategies, M&A, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. She is known for her work in mentoring small businesses and woman-owned and minority firms and their executives and staff.
She is a successful entrepreneur and was the co-founder and CEO of a 350-person IT and environmental management company. She managed hundreds of millions of dollars of United States federal government contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Departments of Transportation, Energy, Defense, Agriculture, and Interior. Amy successfully negotiated the sale of $50 million firm to a Fortune 100 company.
Amy has served on the executive boards of three of the fastest-growing companies in the Washington D.C. metropolitan region. She founded The Nature Generation, a national environmental nonprofit organization committed to educating youth on environmental stewardship. She currently serves on several private sector and community boards and is the vice mayor of the Town of Hillsboro, Virginia, where she focuses her time on infrastructure projects—transportation, drinking water, and wastewater initiatives.
