As the leader of Cadmus’ high performance buildings practice, Brad helps his clients optimize facility operations by working collaboratively with facility staff and project teams to improve energy and building performance in existing buildings, new construction projects, and renovation projects.
Brad’s more than 25 years of experience include commissioning, program evaluation, energy auditing and project implementation, retrocommissioning, measurement and verification, and LEED consulting. His project roles have spanned program and project management to technical execution. With experience on over 400 commercial and industrial projects, Brad is familiar with the unique operational and performance characteristics of hospitals, laboratories, office buildings, hotels, high-rise buildings, higher education campuses, K-12 schools, transportation facilities, government agencies, data centers, and industrial facilities. Prior to joining Cadmus, Brad served as director of commissioning services for a national commissioning firm, developed and implemented energy savings performance contracts for an energy services company, and developed and implemented energy savings projects for utility energy efficiency programs.
Brad is a Professional Engineer in the State of New York, a Certified Commissioning Professional with the Building Commissioning Association, and a LEED® Building Design and Construction (BD+C) Accredited Professional. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University. He has completed a 10-hour General Industry Training and 30-hour Construction Training with the Occupational Safety & Health Administration. He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Education and Events Committee and currently serves as the president of the Building Commissioning Association’s Northeast Chapter.
