Cyndi Mellen leads Cadmus’ state and local homeland security portfolio, providing program management expertise and leading projects for clients across all levels of government. Cyndi is a subject-matter expert in strategic planning and effective stakeholder engagement as well as developing, delivering, and evaluating training and exercises. Her focus areas include emergency management, continuity of operations, cyber incident response planning, integrated response to complex coordinated terrorist attacks, and active shooter response.
Prior to Cadmus, Cyndi served on the Executive Team for the State University of New York National Center for Security & Preparedness (NCSP). She was the NCSP’s lead in supporting development of the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services State Preparedness Training Center residential program focusing on integrated training for first responders.
Cyndi is a certified Project Management Professional. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany, SUNY.
