
Karen Horkitz leads Cadmus’ Program Performance and Market Analysis group, a multidisciplinary team of technical consultants who help clients design, evaluate performance, and continuously improve the effectiveness of energy efficiency and clean energy programs based on market and customer research, economic and engineering analysis, and industry expertise. Karen has more than 25 years of experience leading market research, evaluation, and product marketing activities and for energy and technology companies. She is expert at designing and managing research that delivers data-driven, actionable insights to drive effective strategy, customer engagement, and market results. Karen is widely regarded as an expert in market transformation program design and evaluation.
Prior to joining Cadmus, Karen was a member of the executive team at NEEA, where she served in a variety of leadership positions for more than a decade. She directed program strategy development and execution for NEEA’s portfolio of market transformation programs and previously led NEEA’s market research, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement activities. Earlier in her career, Karen directed product and brand management and customer experience activities for companies in the telecommunications and internet services industries, where she led teams to achieve significant growth by developing and executing effective product roadmaps and customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
Karen holds a master’s degree in management science from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Emory University.
