
Kelly Hinks is a Senior Associate within Cadmus’ strategy and transformation service area. She has over 23-years of experience operating within the federal government as both a retired military leader and consultant specializing in organizational change management, workforce transformation, leadership development, public affairs, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Kelly has worked with senior executives within the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Labor, Department of State, and Department of Veterans Affairs throughout her professional career and has significant experience leading large projects and teams. She is also a strategic thinker and planner, has supported federal government national security efforts, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions, regional security partnerships and training, and drug interdiction operations in more than 35 countries. Additionally, Kelly is an expert change manager specializing in behavioral, motivational, problem-solving, organizational culture challenges, and adaptive leadership coaching.
Kelly is pursuing a professional doctorate in strategic leadership from Liberty University, holds a master’s degree in executive leadership, a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Troy University, and additional degrees in public affairs and management. She is also a certified professional manager, certified resiliency instructor, has an extensive education in both traditional and agile project management, and is dedicated to continuous improvement and education.
