Cadmus Helps Irvine Company Become Largest Owner-Operator of LEED Office Properties in California
Waltham, Mass., July 25, 2013—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that its client the Irvine Company has achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) Volume certification for 43 properties, making it the largest owner-operator of LEED-certified office workplaces in California. With these 43 buildings and a total of more than 12 million square feet, Irvine Company Office Properties’ volume certification is the largest single volume-certification LEED application to date.
To support the Irvine Company’s accomplishment, Cadmus worked with the client to develop prototypes and a framework for energy-efficiency upgrades, performed on-site evaluation work, and managed the LEED certification application process. Of the properties certified, 28 buildings achieved LEED Gold.
