The Cadmus Group Formally Launches Its Corporate Social Responsibility Services

Government, Financial and Business Leaders Turn to Cadmus to Enhance Compliance, Reduce Costs, Minimize Risks, and Create New Business Opportunities

(October 26, 2007) – The Cadmus Group, Inc, announced today the formal launch of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) services. These services fall under two major categories: Business and the Environment, and Environmental Health and Safety Assurance.

Ongoing client requests over the past year confirmed the need for a service that will: assist in analyzing global energy data, determine trends and indicators with business implications, establish strategies that cohesively link internal activities to deliver results, examine opportunities to enhance performance through improved management of value chains, and establish environmental assurance systems.

“CSR is taken very seriously by business leaders, investment bankers and the leaders of nongovernmental organizations as well as by an increasing number of other groups,” said Ian Kline, CEO of Cadmus Group. “The case for CSR is quite compelling as it helps organizations enhance compliance, reduce costs, minimize risks, and create new business opportunities and alliances”.

Despite CSR’s clear and measurable benefits, many organizations have found making CSR a part of their operations to be very challenging. Cadmus is well positioned to help clients strengthen the link between their operations and CSR. Drawing on a diverse set of professional resources and building on its work in the environmental and energy sectors, Cadmus has assisted clients in integrating CSR into their day-to-day activities and has helped other clients establish a pathway for implementing CSR activities in a manner that best balances strategic needs and operational constraints to create lasting value. The Cadmus Group calls the process “operationalizing corporate social responsibility/environmental sustainability.”

Jane Obbagy, the Cadmus vice president in charge of CSR, said, “Our collaborative approach to CSR assignments has been quite effective in devising strategic activities and alternative communications platforms to manage planning and positioning activities. We bring to such assignments an ability to conduct rigorous, unbiased analyses to distill data into understandable insights and knowledge. The Cadmus Group’s broad industry and governmental experience enables us to recommend realistic and pragmatic solutions for moving forward.”
