Peter Trick Joins Cadmus, Will Lead Expansion of Services to Government Clients
Bethesda, Md., December 2, 2013—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that it has hired industry veteran Peter Trick as an executive vice president. Trick will lead Cadmus’ efforts to expand its government services as a key member of the company’s executive leadership team. He will collaborate closely with executives across the social good consultancy’s service areas in natural environment, built environment, international development, public health, strategic communications, and sustainable transportation to grow and develop practices that service the U.S. federal government and other domestic and international public sector markets.
Trick comes to Cadmus from Booz Allen Hamilton, where as senior vice president he led the company’s Energy, Transportation, and the Environment client service offering. He has extensive experience in environmental and energy policy and programs, national infrastructure enhancements, and natural resource strategy and planning, and a background in environmental law. In his more than 38 years of professional experience in government service and consulting, he has led and managed business units of more than 1,200 employees and managed more than $500 million in government contracts.
“I am thrilled to be at Cadmus, supporting the nation’s efforts to revitalize its built and natural infrastructures,” said Trick. “I believe this firm’s technical strength and consulting agility will enable us to make vital contributions to our government clients’ work on the daunting challenges of water scarcity and water quality, energy conservation, sustainability, and environmental protection at home and abroad.”
“Peter’s long and impressive record of success in consulting has been characterized by a drive to do what we as a firm strive to accomplish every day—create social value, improve the quality of people’s lives, and protect the natural environment in support of our clients,” said Ian Kline, Cadmus’ president and CEO. “He will be a tremendous asset as we expand our support for our public sector clients, continue to grow our business, and develop and mentor leaders within our organization.”
Trick has contributed to the design, operation, and evaluation of energy, natural resource management, and environmental protection programs for more than three decades. He played a key role in the implementation of the Clean Water Act and has supported capacity building and institutional strengthening for environmental protection in numerous developing countries. Most recently, he has led a comprehensive campaign to reimagine the United States’ energy, transportation, and environmental infrastructures.
Trick previously served as vice president of environmental and organizational services at SRA International and a senior vice president with the Marasco Newton Group. He received his Juris Doctor with honors from George Mason University and his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in political science and German from Rice University.
