Cadmus’ Fordham Appointed to Cold-Climate Sustainable Transportation Advisory Board

Waltham, Mass., March 26, 2014—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that Cadmus principal Damon Fordham has been appointed to the inaugural advisory board of the Center for Environmentally Sustainable Transportation in Cold Climates (CESTiCC). The newly formed CESTiCC provides multidisciplinary programs engaged in innovative research, education, and technology transfer focused on transportation issues for environmental sustainability. Subjects for research are to include: environmental impact assessment; stormwater management; conservation and ecosystem management; materials and design; and construction, operation, and preservation.
CESTiCC is a consortium of three universities, led by the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) and including Montana State University (MSU) and Washington State University (WSU). The advisory board is composed of experts from academia, industry, and agencies.
Fordham directs Cadmus’ services in sustainable transportation, supporting its clients on projects that help reduce fuel dependence and greenhouse gas emissions, protect critical assets, increase safety, and support healthy communities and habitats, while also managing costs across the life cycle. He is an active member of the Transportation Research Board, serving as vice chair of the Committee on Transportation and Sustainability and a member of the Committee on Transportation Energy.
