Cadmus Continues Energy-Efficiency Finance Support as Prime Contractor for Department of Energy

Waltham, Mass., May 29, 2014—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that it was awarded an expansion of its work in support of the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) programs through the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Cadmus will continue to support DOE by providing a range of technical assistance on EERE finance, including resource development for energy savings performance contracting.

Through this contract with DOE, Cadmus has worked with organizations across the country to develop a diverse set of finance programs that facilitate and streamline federal, state, and local governments’ investments in renewable energy and energy-efficient projects. Tasks undertaken in the project include technical assistance; financial model development; outreach to financial institutions; white paper, case study, and guide development; stakeholder interviews; and best practice development.

Cadmus works with governments, utilities, businesses, and nonprofit organizations to develop programs that provide initial EERE funding options and remove financial hurdles. As a prime DOE contractor providing technical finance assistance, Cadmus is at the leading edge of this rapidly evolving specialty.
