Lois Gordon Joins Cadmus, Leads Firm’s Utility Solutions Practice

Portland, Ore., September 15, 2014—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that Lois Gordon has joined Cadmus as vice president in charge of the firm’s Utility Solutions practice. At Cadmus, Gordon will lead and expand the firm’s comprehensive suite of planning and assessment support services for energy utilities. For more than 10 years, Cadmus has been a recognized industry leader in offerings that support utilities’ strategic planning; resource planning; and demand-side management portfolio design, analysis, and implementation across North America.

Gordon has previously been a co-founder and CEO of energy consulting firm Ecos Consulting (now Ecova), an executive with Portland-based nonprofit Portland Energy Conservation, Inc. (PECI), and a recipient of the Portland Business Journal’s Small Business Woman of the Year award.

“This is an exciting and dynamic time to be working with energy utilities, as they address a rapidly changing marketplace and regulatory landscape,” said Gordon. “I look forward to supporting Cadmus’ utility clients to develop solutions that address these challenges and continue to create greater economic value.”

Gordon has nearly 20 years’ experience in the utility industry, during which she has developed and delivered award-winning energy efficiency-related products and services for utilities across the United States. She brings to Cadmus a wealth of industry knowledge gained through her experience working with government agencies, private companies, and nonprofit entities.

Transformations in the energy market and growing environmental regulation mean that energy utilities today face significant challenges. Regulations like the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) 111(d) offer opportunities for energy utilities—provided they meet these challenges with the necessary practical solutions.

“Lois’ knowledge of the utility industry and energy-efficiency markets, her business acumen, and excellent managerial skills equip her with the ideal mix of attributes that can help leverage Cadmus’ industry-leading strategic support for utilities into exciting opportunities for our clients to meet today’s challenges,” said Hossein Haeri, Ph.D., senior vice president in charge of the firm’s energy services. “We are lucky to have her on our team.”
