Cadmus to Support U.S. Department of Justice in Two New Environmental Cleanup Hearings

Waltham, Mass., January 5, 2015—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that it had been awarded contracts with the U.S. Department of Justice in two additional environmental remediation cases, including one brought under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), commonly known as Superfund.

Cadmus will provide support for the U.S. government in the form of expert testimony and analysis of industrial claimants’ remediation (cleanup) cost documentation. CERCLA created a tax on the chemical and petroleum industries and provides broad federal authority to respond directly to releases or threatened releases of hazardous substances that may endanger public health or the environment.
