Cadmus to Assess NEEA’s Influence in Establishing Irrigation Equipment Data Exchange Standards
Waltham, Mass., February 17, 2015—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that it will support the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) by evaluating elements of the organization’s 2012 initiative to consolidate and improve irrigation system efficiency. Cadmus’ work will assess NEEA’s impact in bringing together industry stakeholders and establishing standards that improve irrigation system efficiency by facilitating data exchange between stand-alone system components.
NEEA’s irrigation efficiency initiative was designed to bring together a diverse set of irrigation components—including sprinklers, emitters, soil moisture monitors, in-field weather stations, and more—into an integrated system through a common application programming interface that facilitates data-driven decision making and improves overall efficiency and performance. Integrating these components presented a challenge, as each element was designed to operate independently.
Cadmus is nationally recognized for providing comprehensive evaluation, measurement, and verification services, including process and impact evaluations, to the energy industry. Learn more.
