Cadmus’ Homeland Security Sector Adds Nitin Natarajan as Principal
WASHINGTON, DC, February 16, 2017—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that Nitin Natarajan has joined its homeland security sector as a principal. Natarajan will be leading Cadmus’ work with an array of public health clients as the new director of the homeland security sector’s public health practice.
Cadmus provides homeland security management consulting and training services for federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as leading private sector companies. These services include the support and development of risk assessments and high-impact exercises across a range of security challenges, such as cybersecurity, natural hazards, terrorist attacks, climate adaptation, and public health risks.
“We are excited today to announce that Nitin Natarajan has joined Cadmus,” said Ian Kline, Cadmus president and CEO. “Nitin brings outstanding leadership and breadth of experience to the public health offerings in Cadmus’ homeland security sector and across the firm. His policy expertise and proven record of success with collaborative problem-solving will be a tremendous benefit to our clients and partners.”
Natarajan joins Cadmus from a distinguished career in government, comprising high-level roles in public health, emergency management, and environmental protection positions. Natarajan formerly served on the National Security Council staff as the key policy advisor on critical infrastructure security and resilience issues across a variety of subject areas including the energy, chemical, healthcare, financial services, information technology, and communications sectors. In addition, he held leadership positions at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the District of Columbia Department of Health. Natarajan boasts a wealth of experience in bringing the public, the private sector, and all levels of government together to resolve problems collaboratively and has led response efforts to public health and environmental emergencies.
“Nitin has demonstrated outstanding leadership as both a government executive as well as an emergency responder,” said Dr. Kevin O’Prey, Cadmus senior vice president and homeland security sector operating unit director. “As director of Cadmus’ homeland security sector’s public health practice, Nitin will bring that experience to a program that is a high priority for us, our clients, and the Cadmus mission of delivering positive outcomes around the globe.”
