The global coronavirus pandemic is unlike anything we’ve experienced in our lifetimes. Beyond the devastating health impacts, the virus is impacting society in myriad ways, globally and locally. Many of these impacts are likely to be far reaching and long lasting. It’s critical that we work together to address current and future challenges resulting from the outbreak, while also identifying and taking advantage of opportunities benefitting the social good that may emerge.
Working collaboratively with our clients has been a hallmark of Cadmus’ approach since our founding 35 years ago. Never was that more important than it is now. During this fluid and uncertain time, Cadmus is working closely with our clients to ensure continuity in our support of their missions, adapting and surging to meet critical objectives when circumstances demand an innovative approach.
We have taken strong steps to protect the safety of our employees, whose commitment and expertise is the core of our support for our clients. Since mid-March, we have instructed all Cadmus employees to telework whose presence onsite is not essential to our clients. We have ceased all travel that is not directly associated with client priorities related to the COVID-19 response. We have provided holistic support to our colleagues to help them weather the many challenges associated with state and local “stay-at-home” guidelines and school closures. Our outstanding IT team and our past investments in infrastructure have made the transition to telework nearly seamless, and we are using old and new modes of collaboration more than ever to bring us closer together.
Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic demands resilience and dedication from all of us in the global community and will continue to do so. We are offering expertise from our colleagues on what to expect and how to prepare for the pivot from response to recovery.
We have endeavored to build a firm capable of helping our clients address the world’s most challenging problems. In these extraordinarily challenging times, I am especially thankful to work with clients and colleagues who share that motivation. We look forward to continuing this mission together.
