Resources to Identify Installers and Financing

This page provides two resourcesto help you identify and select a solar installer and/or financing options for your solar PV/PV+ system:

  • A catalogue of PV/PV+ installers participating with JERA/SESR-Jamaica. The catalogue includes contact information, service offerings, and firm capabilities. All listed installers offer turnkey PV services (scoping to system commissioning) in-house or through a network of service providers. Cadmus reviewed each firm against a set of uniform criteria described in the catalogue and conducted a review of references. All participating installers have signed an MOU with SESR-Jamaica and have agreed to be listed in this catalogue.
  • A PV/PV+ finance catalogue. This catalogue lists accredited Jamaican commercial banks and credit unions who lend for PV/PV+ projects. It provides contact information and information regarding PV/PV+ lending instruments and terms.

Much of the information available in the catalogues is not otherwise publicly available and was gathered by direct outreach to and conversations with the listed installers and financial institutions (FIs).

Businesses may use these resources to identify installers and FIs that may meet their needs and reach out directly.
