What You’ll Be Doing
Cadmus’ International Development Division is actively seeking a Senior Analyst for its Environment Climate and Resilience (ECR) team. Qualified candidates will demonstrate the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment, deliver in in a multifaceted role with competing responsibilities and demonstrate relevant international development experience. The Senior Analyst will play a crucial part in advancing our project portfolio while providing technical expertise and supporting business development initiatives. The estimated allocation of the Senior Analyst’s duties and responsibilities are outlined below.

Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Operations (50%):
- Support project administration, recruitment and staffing, financial management, and other tasks as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of projects
- Serve as administrative point of contact and general management resource for subcontractors, vendors, independent consultants, and/or local employees, including for invoice review, approval, and processing
- Support smooth project operations, including those related to project budget, staffing, work schedule, subcontractors, and deliverables
- Support activity/project Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Plans, including MEL data collection, management, and reporting
- Undertake tracking of activities/projects to ensure compliance with contract requirements, as well as host country regulations
- Support project-related marketing and communications
- Track work-plan progress and support project team coordination to ensure work-plan execution
- Coordinate with internal leverage/back-of-office teams (Finance, Recruitment, HR, Accounting, etc.) to ensure execution of project operations and tasks
- Manage travel, logistics and relocation for field-based staff in compliance with USAID regulations and Cadmus policies
- Tailor contract templates for consultants, subcontractors, and clients
- Contribute to start-up and close-down of field offices as needed to ensure successful starts to activities
- Other tasks as required by direct supervisor and other project teams
- Ability to travel internationally to support activities as needed
Technical (25%):
- Lead or support client technical work in areas related to energy, climate, environment, water and other relevant ECR areas of focus; this includes, but not limited to, conducting research and performing analysis in project specific areas, drafting reports and supporting overall deliverable preparation
- Support assessment or assignment teams in the field, within area of specialty – e.g., experience analyzing, assessing, and recommending optimal policy and regulatory frameworks to achieve energy priorities and objectives
- Support training delivery and capacity building initiatives on relevant ECR topic areas
- Copy-edit project deliverables and reports
- Coordinate technical inputs among multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team(s) of long-term technical and on-call experts, providing technical leadership and management of staff and resource allocation for assigned tasks under a project or program
Business Development (25%):
- Support business development efforts, including recruitment, drafting CVs, developing past performance summaries, drafting portions of proposals, providing logistical support for field trips to beneficiary countries to gather background information and technical content, and support the overall development of proposals
- Lead research initiatives in support of proposals and overall growth strategy
- Participate in the development of opportunity pipelines, strategic planning, and other corporate growth initiatives
- Ensure alignment and compliance with donor-funded proposal requirements
- Support Cadmus’ participation at conferences, forums, and events to promote our work, build networks, and identify potential partnerships and funding sources
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Development/Affairs/Business, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or other related field and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree in a relevant field and 3 years of relevant experience
- Interest and ability to work in a team environment, multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills (you will interact with employees, consultants, partners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors, mostly not from the US)
- Strong research and technical writing skills.
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (spreadsheet and financial tracking).
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- International Development experience and with U.S. Government funded projects
- Experience in relevant ECR topic areas, including energy, climate, environment, water, urban resiliency, etc.
- Strong language skills in Spanish, French, or Arabic (other languages widely spoken in the developing world may be considered in place of these languages)
Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $70,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
