What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking a Billing Accountant to share in our success. This position will report to the Billing Manager and works closely with both project and contracting staff in our Arlington, VA office.

Responsibilities
Duties to include but not limited to:
- “Cradle to grave” project cost accounting and invoicing responsibilities to our government clients specializing in the area of international development, including: invoice certifications, attachments for each contract, and assistance with collections
- Project set up including billable and non-billable codes, budgets, rates and contract funding
- Revenue recognition, unbilled receivable reconciliation, and indirect rate verification
- Ensure costs are recorded to the proper period
- Prepare monthly financial progress and other reports
- Liaises with Program Manager, Chief of Party and Contracts team to ensure accuracy of invoicing and compliance
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with focus in accounting
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Detailed oriented, well organized, professional attitude, and reliable
- Data entry and typing skills, knowledge of MS Word, Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively via e-mail, Microsoft teams and telephone
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint and QuickBooks preferred
Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $80,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
