Terry Fry’s 6th Term as U.S. DOC Commerce Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Advisor

Helping to Lead the Clean-Energy Economy

WALTHAM, Mass., May 27, 2021-Cadmus announced today that Terry Fry, senior vice president of energy services, has been appointed to the U.S. Department of Commerce Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC). This is Fry’s sixth appointment to the advisory committee.

Terry Fry, Senior Vice President of Energy Services

“The global transition to clean energy depends on innovative technology development and deployment as well as policy leadership here in the U.S. Our clean energy sector employs three million American workers-nearly three times as many as work in fossil fuel extraction and generation jobs-and our national policy commitments will accelerate jobs growth rapidly in the coming years,” said Fry. “The committee was founded on the idea that the nation that leads the clean-energy economy will be the nation that leads the world economy and that America must lead. I am honored to be appointed to this vital committee for the sixth time and have the opportunity to contribute to its continued success.”

The REEEAC is composed of senior private sector representatives who provide advice to the secretary of commerce on the development and administration of programs and policies to strengthen domestic clean energy industries and expand the export competitiveness of U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency products and services. Fry will serve as Chair of the Trade Promotion and Market Access subcommittee, which will advise on global market access challenges, provide guidance on multinational partnerships, and recommend enhancements to interagency energy initiatives.

Fry has led economically efficient energy production and technology deployment initiatives for more than 30 years. He brings in-depth expertise in utility resource planning and regulatory practices, particularly the intersection of customer initiatives, distributed energy resources, and modern grid dynamics, to his leadership of Cadmus’ energy services.
