Cadmus Joins GRI GOLD Community to Help Shape the Future of Sustainability and Reporting
WALTHAM, Mass., September 29, 2016—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that it has joined GRI’s GOLD Community. Through this partnership, Cadmus solidifies its position at the forefront of sustainability reporting practices that help its clients identify, measure, and communicate their sustainability commitments and progress.
GRI (formerly known as the Global Reporting Initiative) is an international, independent organization that helps businesses, governments, and other organizations understand and communicate the impact of business on critical sustainability issues such as climate change, human rights, corruption, and many others. With thousands of reporters in over 90 countries, GRI provides the world’s most widely used standards on sustainability reporting and disclosure.
“GRI sets the standard for transparent sustainability reporting around the world,” said Kate Swayne Wilson, director of Cadmus’ greenhouse gas (GHG) and sustainability reporting practice. “Our consultants have been longtime supporters and adopters of the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards as metrics to help our clients set their sustainability goals, and we’re honored that Cadmus will be contributing to GRI’s mission as a GOLD Community member.”
“We are pleased to welcome Cadmus to the GOLD Community, GRI’s core supporters, who are driving the change needed to help fulfill the 2030 Development Agenda,” said Nikki McKean-Wood, GRI’s director of corporate and stakeholder relations. “By working together, we can achieve so much more, and only through collaboration can we build upon our common goal of creating a more sustainable, secure, and stable economy and world.”
The GRI GOLD Community, formed in February 2016, is helping to shape the future of sustainability and reporting, and empowering decision-making towards a more sustainable economy and world. GOLD Community members benefit from the latest insights and trends in sustainability and reporting, demonstrate leadership, and form a global community of practice and knowledge-sharing. GRI membership enhances and complements Cadmus’ existing GHG and corporate social responsibility reporting services, which help organizations set and achieve sustainability goals through credible, transparent, and robust global reporting standards.
