Cadmus Kicks Off Commuter Challenge as Part of Earth Week 2013

Waltham, Mass., April 22, 2013—The Cadmus Group, Inc., (Cadmus) launched its participation in Earth Week 2013 with the Earth Week Commuter Challenge. Employees located in its offices in Oregon, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Virginia were all invited to take part to claim the Commuter Challenge Title for 2013.

The competition runs from Monday, April 22nd through Friday, April 26th. This year Cadmus instituted two different ways to accumulate miles traveled.  Employees have the choice of booking miles by walking/biking/running and/or booking miles traveled by public transit.

At the end of the week the office that has the most number of miles traveled per participant wins the category. If an office wins both categories, they automatically win the competition. The office that wins the Commuter Challenge will receive a prize for all those who participated in the challenge.

In addition to the Commuter Challenge, Cadmus employees are conducting a number of activities to increase their knowledge of environmental issues, improve the “green” nature of their office spaces and support the efforts of partner organizations to beautify their surroundings.
