Cadmus Supports Colorado Flood Relief with Donation to Community Foundation

Waltham, Mass., September 26, 2013—Cadmus announced today that it will be supporting flood relief efforts in Colorado with a donation made through the Community Foundation of Boulder County, a local steward for endowment funds dedicated to improving quality of life through the support of nonprofits in Boulder County and the surrounding area.

The Community Foundation has partnered with Foothills United Way to provide flood relief through the Foothills Flood Relief Fund. Grants from this fund will go toward Boulder and Broomfield County health and human service nonprofit organizations supporting the immediate and longer-term needs of those impacted by the flooding, as well as to individuals and families in the form of assistance grants qualified by Boulder County.

According to a preliminary report released Tuesday by the Boulder Office of Emergency Management, flooding this month damaged nearly 4,000 homes and caused at least $91.2 million in damage to government facilities, roads and bridges in unincorporated Boulder County alone. Assistance is needed with clean-up; rebuilding; and providing food, shelter, and other basic needs of those affected by the 100-year flood.
