Cadmus to Conduct Independent Market Evaluation of Lighting Program for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

Waltham, Mass., April 18, 2013 – The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) has been contracted by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) to perform an independent evaluation of the impact of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) solid-state lighting (SSL) market development support program. By DOE estimates, SSL technologies, such as light-emitting diode (LED) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED), have the potential to reduce energy consumption from lighting by nearly half over the next two decades. Cadmus’ program assessment will focus on the market development aspect of DOE’s comprehensive national SSL strategy.
