New Task Order Focuses on Water Quality Trading
(June 4, 2007) — The Cadmus Group, Inc. has won a task order for “Evaluating the Technical Feasibility of Integrating Wetlands into a Water Quality Trading Program for the Great Salt Lake.” The work will involve literature reviews, geographic information system-based modeling, workshop organization, and outreach planning.
This win will position Cadmus for future work in water quality trading, a growing area in which the company has a keen interest. Many of the approaches developed under this project are expected to be used by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in similar projects across the country in coming years.
With this task order the total value of projects Cadmus has won under our Scientific, Technical, Research, Engineering, and Modeling Support (STREAMS) contract with EPA’s Office of Research and Development increases to more than $1 million.
Several subcontractors and consultants also will participate in the project.
