Rovi Named PTI Sustainability Council Strategic Advisor

(October 3, 2007) — Cadmus principal Julio Rovi has been named a strategic advisor to the Sustainability Council of the Public Technology Institute (PTI). A national, non-profit institute, PTI works with cities and counties to promote energy performance in conjunction with its mission to accelerate technology transfer and market transformation in local governments.

“PTI is an association that effectively transfers important knowledge and skill to municipalities around the country, and it is a pleasure to contribute to their efforts,” said Mr. Rovi. As a supporter of the Council, Mr. Rovi helps members meet energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, and general energy management goals. He also serves as a facilitator, speaker, and advisor, and he has helped train hundreds of energy and environmental managers in PTI member jurisdictions. Julio Rovi heads Cadmus’ Building Performance Services practice. He has over 24 years of professional experience and multiple degrees in energy, engineering, and the social sciences from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School. He holds professional certifications in energy management, indoor air quality, and sustainability. Fluent in English and Spanish, Mr. Rovi has worked on energy efficiency and climate programs in most of the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean.
