With more than 40 years of experience with the Safe Drinking Water Act and its amendments, Donna Jensen helps federal, state, and local government clients achieve their public health and sustainability goals using practical and feasible approaches. Her expertise is in water system emergency preparedness, compliance, infrastructure needs assessments, operations and maintenance cost studies, and treatment effectiveness via technical guidance materials, training, and operator certification programs.
Previously, she was part of the management staff for Montana’s Public Water Supply Program where she developed robust field services and compliance assistance programs. She also has extensive experience conducting laboratory analyses for microbial contaminants and indicator organisms in drinking water.
Donna holds a master’s degree in microbiology with a water quality emphasis from Colorado State University (CSU) and a bachelor’s degree (also from CSU). She is a Life Member of the American Water Works Association.
