Michael Whittaker specializes in managing, designing, and conducting user engagement projects, emergency response exercises, and resilience initiatives for federal, state, local, and private sector clients. Michael focuses on the intersection of disaster preparedness and climate resilience, bringing together stakeholders and organizations across all levels to improve climate adaptation and preparedness efforts. Additionally, Michael provides facilitation expertise and outreach support, ensuring events, exercises, and engagements lead to actionable outcomes and next steps for all participants and attendees.

Prior to joining Cadmus, Michael served as a researcher at the Institute for the Study of War, a DC-based foreign policy think tank.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Michael is also a certified Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP).
