Michelle Young has 25 years’ experience providing Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) program implementation, communication, outreach, and training support to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency , state programs, and public water systems. Michelle helps these entities achieve their public health and sustainability goals to obtain and maintain compliance with the SDWA by developing understandable and clear guidance documents, developing comprehensive training programs, reviewing drinking water programs for compliance with the federal requirements, and evaluating state programs to help them understand their staffing and funding needs.
Michelle has a bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. She holds several certificates for training, including Designing and Delivering Instructor-Led Training, Total Trainer, and Online Virtual Designer. She is also a certified Adobe Captivate Specialist.
