Michelle Young brings deep technical expertise with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental and government consulting industry. She is skilled in project management, policy analysis, training development, and communication and outreach. She has over 30 years’ experience managing projects and providing National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (NPDWRs) and Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) programs implementation and outreach support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), state programs, and public water systems. Michelle is an expert in understanding the NPDWRs and determining the needs of state drinking water programs to effectively implement their Public Water System Supervision program.
Michelle manages EPA’s Real Water Technical Assistance (RealWaterTA) Program Engineering Support task order contract that provides engineering support documents to water utilities that need to implement infrastructure projects and are planning on applying for Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Funds (SRFs) and associated programs for tribes and territories.
Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in history and business administration and holds several certificates for in-person, online virtual, and self-paced training development and delivery.
