Milena Yang

Senior Specialist

Milena Yang is an organization development professional with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering organization change management, strategic communications, and strategic planning initiatives for clients. Skilled at building consensus among cross functional group members, she has a reputation for facilitating executive leadership through the development of strategy as well as the supporting tactics that will lead to results. She has applied her expertise at a variety of federal organizations, including the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Treasury, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Homeland Security. 

Milena is a senior professional who has spent her career focused on the people side of change. She is experienced in the full life cycle of projects—from planning to assessment and analysis, to recommendations development and execution—meeting clients where they are in order to deliver value quickly. She has developed and executed strategic workforce plans, succession plans, communication plans, and employee engagement programs. Milena is an experienced facilitator who can lead groups at all levels—executives to project teams—in articulating their vision, goals, and action plans. She is both a strong team lead and individual contributor.   

Milena has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree in organization development from The Johns Hopkins University. A member of both the Chesapeake Bay Organization Development Network and the Mid-Atlantic Facilitators Network, she frequently participates in relevant trainings and seminars to continue to learn and grow.
