Cadmus Will Discuss Promoting Energy Efficiency at National Conference

Cadmus senior associate Laura Orfanedes will talk about “Starting Small, Saving BIG in New England: Using a Public Affairs Approach to Engage Consumers and Mobilize Partners Toward Energy Efficiency” at the Association for Energy Services Professionals’ 18th National Energy Services Conference & Exposition, January 29 – 31, 2008, in Clearwater, Florida.

Her presentation will outline how a public-affairs-campaign approach undertaken on behalf of the utilities and energy-efficiency-program providers of the Northeast ENERGY STAR® Lighting and Appliance Initiative capitalized on public interest in global warming and energy to mobilize industry partners and the media and engage customers of the  Initiative’s residential energy efficiency programs. Ms. Orfanedes also will discuss strategies for leveraging these partnerships through programming and promotional tactics and using the public affairs platform to drive awareness and results in the marketplace. Presenting with Ms. Orfanedes will be Cynthia Jolicoeur, a vice president with Marketing Drive Worldwide.
