Cadmus Enters Second Decade as Prime EPA Climate Change Contractor

The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) will continue to provide key support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in its efforts to achieve the nation’s goals for reducing global-climate-changing greenhouse gas emissions under a recently awarded 5-year,  $50 million contract with EPA’s Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD).

Cadmus will provide a wide range of services to CPPD’s ENERGY STAR® and other innovative voluntary programs that aim to reduce atmospheric pollution by increasing demand for energy efficiency and by creating and expanding markets for energy-efficient products, homes and buildings. The primary goal of these programs is to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants through reduced energy consumption. The services Cadmus will provide include marketing, public/media relations, new media, advertising, educational outreach, strategic planning and evaluation and market research.

“For the past 10 years Cadmus has been the only contractor to hold the Marketing, Media, and Public Education Support contract with CPPD. That we have been able to fend off challenges from top-flight competitors each time EPA has re-bid the contract is a testament to the outstanding advice and support that our Marketing and Media team has provided,” said Ian Kline, Cadmus president and CEO.

“This win also results from our continued ability to generate cutting-edge ideas and create campaigns designed to take ENERGY STAR® and the other CPPD programs to yet another level of success,” Mr. Kline said.
