Cadmus Promotes Four Senior Staff Members Following Major Corporate Reorganization
The Cadmus Group, Inc., today announced several senior staff promotions as a result of the company’s reorganization following its recent acquisition of green building consultancy Constructive Technologies Group (CTG).
Vice presidents Ed Miller and Chi Ho Sham, Ph.D., have been promoted to senior vice president, and each will lead a division within the firm. With their promotions come increased strategic responsibilities and a charge to aggressively expand Cadmus’ presence and impact in key markets.
Mr. Miller will head the new Strategic Communications and Market Transformation Division, which will build on the exceptional communications and market transformation work that Cadmus has done. This work includes supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR® program and many other programs within EPA, the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and other federal agencies.
Dr. Sham will lead the new Environmental Science and Policy Division. This move is fueled by our recent success in expanding our capabilities and project work beyond drinking water and water quality into technical and policy issues associated with land use, air quality, climate science, energy efficiency, nanomaterials, etc. Cadmus has provided support in these areas to EPA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, other federal and state agencies, and research foundations.
“Ed and Chi Ho have each been vice presidents and group managers at Cadmus for more than a decade, and they have made significant contributions to our growth and success. I am confident that they will continue their outstanding performance in their new positions and will ensure that the firm achieves the impact we desire in their respective markets,” said Ian Kline, president and CEO.
The CTG acquisition at the end of 2011 resulted in the formation of the new Built Environment Division, which comprises Cadmus’ long-standing green building policy and programs practice and the high-performance building capabilities brought by CTG. The Built Environment Division is made up of two staff groups large enough to require executive operational leadership. They will be led by Julio Rovi and Greg Shank, who have been named vice presidents.
Mr. Rovi is a former Cadmus principal and led the development and growth of the company’s successful green building practice prior to the merger with CTG. He also played a critical role in positioning Cadmus to take this important step in the green building market.
The former president of CTG Energetics, Mr. Shank provided outstanding day-to-day leadership as CTG established and built on its industry-leading position in high-performance building and sustainability in the built environment.
“Julio and Greg bring years of outstanding leadership and technical expertise to the division,” said Mr. Kline. “Under their guidance, this division will be a powerhouse in the green and high-performance buildings space.”
Mr. Rovi and Mr. Shank will also join the Cadmus executive committee.
