Cadmus Contributes $10,000 to Haiti Relief

The Cadmus Group Inc. has contributed $10,000 to assist relief efforts in Haiti following the devastating earthquake of January 12, Ian Kline, company president and CEO has announced.

“We’ve all seen the terrible images of the destruction caused by the earthquake and the suffering of the Haitian people. Many members of the Cadmus staff have asked me what the company plans to do to help the people of Haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake.

“The executive committee and I decided that Cadmus would contribute $5,000 to the American Red Cross and $5,000 to Partners in Health. Both organizations have solid reputations, limited administrative costs, and good infrastructure already operating in Haiti. We are confident our contributions will be spent well and in the most useful ways,” said Mr. Kline.

To help members of the Cadmus family—including employees, their family members and friends—contribute individually to Partners in Health’s efforts in Haiti, Cadmus has also set up a fundraising page on the Partners in Health Web site.

“I’ve set a fundraising goal of $5,000 to see if we can match the firm’s contribution, but anything we can contribute will be a big help,” said Mr. Kline.

Individual contributions to the Red Cross can be made on that organization’s Web site (http://www.redcross.org).

“I encourage everyone to visit the Red Cross and Partners in Health Web sites to see the kind of work these organizations are doing in Haiti. They are both remarkable groups, doing whatever it takes to relieve suffering during this disaster. We can all feel proud to be part of their efforts,” said Mr. Kline.

Cadmus staff members are also encouraged to contribute to other relief agencies of their choosing that are active in the ongoing relief efforts in Haiti.
