Cadmus Expands Senior Management Team
The Cadmus Group, Inc. today announced changes in its senior management team intended to improve business operations and strengthen the administration of its growing portfolio of federal, state and private-sector contracts.
The company recently promoted Chris Hitchcock, its vice president of contracts and subcontracts, to the newly created position of chief operating officer (COO). As COO he is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations and for ensuring continuous improvement in the way the company does business. In addition to heading the firm’s contracts department since joining Cadmus almost 19 years ago, Mr. Hitchcock has served in other roles including ethics officer and facility security officer.
Cadmus named John Roman to succeed Mr. Hitchcock as the company’s next vice president and director of contracts. Mr. Roman is a seasoned contracts executive and has 20 years of experience in contracts management and administration, contract and subcontract negotiation, proposal preparation and pricing, project control, accounts receivable and financial analysis. Prior to joining Cadmus, Mr. Roman was vice president in the homeland and civilian solutions business unit of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
“Cadmus’ continued growth this year has led to some very exciting developments. As we expand into new areas, develop new business lines, and offer additional services to our clients, I know that Chris and John will provide invaluable strategic guidance,” said Ian Kline, Cadmus president and chief executive officer.
