Cadmus Wins Five-year Contract to Work on EPA Global Climate Change Projects
Waltham, Mass., November 15, 2012 — The Cadmus Group, Inc., has won a five-year contract to continue working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on projects to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and combat global climate change.
Cadmus received one of three five-year contracts with EPA’s Energy Supply and Industry Branch (ESIB), which oversees the Center for Corporate Climate Leadership (CCCL), the Combined Heat and Power Partnership (CHPP), the Green Power Partnership (GPP), and the Clean Energy Utility Programs. The programs provide objective information, create networks and public-private partnerships, and offer technical assistance to help consumers in all economic sectors, policymakers, and energy providers learn more about clean energy technologies and policy options.
The Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Supply and Industry Branch (ESIB) is responsible for successful voluntary climate change programs that reduce greenhouse gas emissions by creating and expanding markets for clean energy. For more than 10 years, these programs have forged innovative public-private partnerships for addressing U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases while helping to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The primary goal of these programs is to cost-effectively reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other regulated pollutants while providing additional benefits to ESIB partners in the form of enhanced recognition and a cleaner corporate footprint.
EPA’s ESIB is part of EPA’s Climate Protection Partnerships Division, which also oversees the ENERGY STAR® labeling program, in the Office of Air and Radiation.
