Cadmus with STC Team Wins NOAA ProTech Satellite Office of System Architecture and Engineering User Engagement Support Contract

ARLINGTON, Va., July 17, 2024—Cadmus, a leading provider of technical and strategic expertise to governments, energy utilities, and private sector companies worldwide, is part of the Science and Technology Corporation (STC) team that has been awarded a contract to support the User Engagement and Needs Assessment (UENA) branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Through this award, Team STC will provide user engagement support services to UENA, the new NOAA branch responsible for providing traceability from user needs to satellite technical specifications.

Under this contract, Cadmus will leverage its extensive social science and stakeholder engagement expertise, providing critical communications and event support across UENA program activities. The work will build on Cadmus’ support to NOAA over the past four years, including high-profile events such as the NOAA-ASU Air Quality Tabletop Exercise.

“Cadmus is proud to continue working with NOAA as the agency expands on its high-impact new approach to user engagement,” said President and CEO Ian Kline. “Our team’s multidisciplinary expertise combines environmental science and social science to help the agency fully demonstrate the value of the data, products, and services it develops in order to deliver on critical priorities such as public health and climate resilience.”

The award of this task order is one of several that Cadmus has won under the ProTech Satellites 2.0 IDIQ vehicle. Cadmus is proud to be part of Team STC to advance UENA’s engagement services and help ensure that users’ diverse needs are captured correctly and translated to technical requirements, while demonstrating the value of NOAA’s environmental information.
