Cadmus Teams with Riverside Technology to Win NOAA Science and Engagement Services Contract

ARLINGTON, Va., June 4, 2024—Cadmus, a leading provider of technical and strategic expertise to governments, energy utilities, and private sector companies worldwide, is partnered with Riverside Technology, inc., which has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to support the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Through this award, Team Riverside will provide science and engagement support services to meet NCEI’s mandates specified in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).

Under this contract, Cadmus will leverage its extensive climate, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement expertise across several program activities to improve the value of NOAA’s service delivery and rapidly prototype, develop, and release new data, products, and services to inform climate risk analyses. Cadmus will lead user engagement on behalf of the Riverside team through NCEI’s Industry Proving Grounds to directly connect with end-users to promote equitable access to actionable climate data. Our specialists will be engaging with six sectors of the economy through planning and executing dozens of interviews, events, surveys, and other activities each year.

“Cadmus is proud to be leading this national user engagement effort on behalf of NOAA as part of Team Riverside,” said President and CEO Ian Kline. “Powered by a once-in-a-generation funding infusion provided by the IRA and BIL, this project will provide critically important resources to help traditionally underserved communities and priority sectors of the U.S. economy—across all 50 states and U.S. territories—adapt and become more resilient to climate risk and impacts.”

The award of this task order is one of several that Cadmus has won under the ProTech Satellites 2.0 IDIQ vehicle.
