Renewable Energy Team Wins Rebid to Support Programs in Massachusetts

The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) will continue providing technical assistance to the photovoltaic (PV) and wind incentive programs of the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) under a recently awarded contract worth an estimated $200,000. The contract period will run until June 30, 2012.

The work will consist primarily of providing quality installation (QI) and monitoring and verification (M&V) technical services. Tasks include ensuring systems meet electrical code requirements and investigating systems whose reported energy generation is out of line with expectations. Cadmus also may train members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) on mistakes commonly made in PV installations.

For over eight years Cadmus has provided renewable-energy-related services in Massachusetts. We also are working with clients in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and with the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
