Client need

Commercial fleets, workplaces, and multifamily properties often face complex challenges when transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs), including identifying suitable vehicles, understanding charging needs, and navigating infrastructure planning—all while balancing costs and operational requirements.
What we delivered
In partnership with AECOM, Cadmus provided tailored fleet advisory services through SMUD’s eFuel program. We conduct in-depth interviews and fleet assessments to identify electrification opportunities, evaluate charging infrastructure needs, assess total cost of ownership (TCO), and recommend vehicle and charger options. Our team also delivers high-level site design and cost estimates through on-site evaluations of customer facilities.
Client impact
Our advisory services empower SMUD’s commercial customers to make informed, cost-effective decisions about EV adoption and charging infrastructure. By simplifying the transition process and offering expert, hands-on support, Cadmus is helping accelerate clean transportation in the Sacramento region.
