We walk our talk

Sustainable Spaces

We don’t just help clients gain LEED® and ENERGY STAR® certification—we do so from certified buildings and office spaces and adopt sustainable operating practices. We also purchase energy from renewable sources equal to 100% of our electricity consumption, avoiding an estimated 700 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

The Nature Generation

The Nature Generation Logo

Cadmus proudly supports The Nature Generation (NatGen), a national organization dedicated to inspiring responsible environmental stewardship in the nation’s youth. We are especially proud to sponsor NatGen’s Green Earth Book Award, including the Cadmus Children’s Fiction Book Award.

Employee-Directed Charitable Giving Program

Our employee-directed charitable giving program was launched in July 2006 by President and CEO Ian Kline, who believed we could expand the impact of corporate charitable activities by allowing our amazingly engaged employees to direct some of the firm’s resources to organizations that hold personal significance. This program allows our colleagues to be directly involved in deciding how and where Cadmus provides charitable support. Applications are strengthened by our employees’ active involvement with the programs and organizations in question, which gives Cadmus the opportunity to encourage the good works that Cadmus employees support with their own time and donations.

Recent recipients of the program’s donations include organizations that provide clean water to disadvantaged communities, increase access to healthy food systems, break the cycle of incarceration and poverty, empower marginalized youths, and many more projects that Cadmus employees value.

Mentor-Protégé Relationships

Cadmus participates in the EPA’s Mentor-Protégé Program, helping small, disadvantaged, and woman-owned businesses develop the expertise and economic stability to compete successfully for EPA contracts.
