Client need
Stakeholders across the EV charging ecosystem—from governments to private businesses—need a reliable way to evaluate the financial viability of charging infrastructure investments but often lack tools that account for the full range of costs, benefits, and technology options.
What we delivered
Cadmus developed and maintains a proprietary financial analysis tool that models the costs and benefits of any type of EV charging station in the U.S.—from Level 1 to megawatt charging systems, and across light-, medium-, and heavy-duty use cases. The tool incorporates capital, operational, and replacement costs, as well as direct and indirect revenue streams, and includes optional scenarios for solar and battery storage integration.
Client impact
This flexible, data-driven tool empowers utilities, fleets, site hosts, government agencies, and technology providers to make informed investment decisions and optimize charging infrastructure deployment. Designed for broad applicability, it supports strategic planning across the rapidly evolving EV landscape.
