Client need
As ridehailing services expand globally, cities face growing pressure to reduce emissions and improve air quality. Electrifying ridehail fleets presents a major opportunity, but stakeholders need localized strategies, data-driven insights, and collaborative planning to make the transition effective and equitable.
What we delivered
Cadmus partnered with Uber to develop a series of white papers on ridehail electrification strategies across the United States, Canada, Brazil, and India. These papers were informed by in-person stakeholder events—organized and facilitated by Cadmus—in Washington, D.C., São Paulo, and Delhi, ensuring that regional perspectives and priorities were central to the analysis.
Client impact
The white papers provided Uber and its partners with actionable, region-specific strategies to accelerate EV adoption among ridehail drivers. They built on Uber’s existing investments in electrification and offered a roadmap for maximizing environmental, public health, and energy benefits through targeted policy and programmatic interventions.
