Andrew Somor

Andrew Somor leads Cadmus’ work protecting and restoring the rivers, lakes, and coasts that communities depend on. He combines deep expertise in Clean Water Act policy, watershed science, data analytics, and strategic planning to help clients navigate complex technical and regulatory challenges and implement effective, practical solutions.

For more than a decade, Andrew has managed large, multi-million dollar contracts with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Wetlands, Oceans and Watersheds, supporting the Agency’s mission to protect human health and the environment by ensuring clean water. He oversees multidisciplinary teams working across geographic scales, from data analysis, modeling, and watershed planning for individual water bodies to the design of statewide and national tools and dashboards that support program planning, tracking, and decision-making. He has delivered training sessions and webinars to national audiences on a variety of Clean Water Act topics, including water quality monitoring, assessment, and Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). He also collaborates with Cadmus leaders and partners across the water sector to integrate watershed management strategies into initiatives that strengthen the resilience of drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater systems and infrastructure. Andrew holds a master’s degree in hydrology from the University of Arizona.
