Christie Amero

Christie Amero, PE, has 15 years of experience providing project management, impact evaluation, and quantitative data analysis services in the energy efficiency and building and transportation electrification industries.

Christie leads Cadmus’ customer solutions practice, which focuses on decarbonization and distributed energy resource (DER) integration in residential and commercial applications. She is an expert in verification site visits and walk-through audits, electrical power metering and data collection, energy modeling, commercial and industrial (C&I) energy efficiency measures, and building and transportation electrification technology evaluation and planning and leads several distributed energy resource and battery implementation and evaluation programs.

Before joining Cadmus, Christie was a senior engineer at DMI, Inc., an energy consulting company based in Massachusetts, where she was the project manager for C&I sites in the Boston area, performing LEED commissioning, ASHRAE Level 2 audits, technical assistance studies, and impact evaluations and managing program implementation and policy-related projects.

Christie holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. She is a licensed mechanical engineer specializing in HVAC and refrigeration.
