Ryan Hughes, PE, has 17+ years of experience leading large‑scale energy efficiency impact evaluations for commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential utility programs across North America. He provides technical leadership for large, complex energy efficiency evaluations, with responsibility for engineering rigor, methodology, and synthesis of results across multi-program portfolios. He combines deep engineering expertise with strong technical leadership in data analysis, evaluation design, sampling oversight, and tool development. Ryan is known for delivering defensible, regulator‑ready results and for translating complex engineering and data‑driven analysis into clear, actionable insights for utilities, regulators, and internal teams.

Ryan’s clients include Puget Sound Energy, Ontario IESO, Georgia Power, AES Indiana, PacifiCorp, CenterPoint Energy, Connecticut Energy Efficiency Board, AES Ohio, New Hampshire Saves, Silicon Valley Power, Seattle City Light, Salt River Project, Energy Trust of Oregon, Bonneville Power Administration, and Colorado Springs Utilities.

Ryan holds has bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado and has been a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado since 2009.
